In an important effort to simplify the design and installation of solar energy systems, Siemens Solar Industries has developed a new residential solar energy kit. When installed by a qualified electrical contractor, these kits provide a complete solution for the homeowner. By having an earthsafe™ system installed, a homeowner is able to support American and worldwide efforts to reduce global warming, by replacing the burning of fossil fuels with solar electricity for a portion of their power.
These kits provide utility-quality power, and will allow the consumer to take advantage of net metering savings on their utility bills, in those service areas where net metering is in the utility rate structure.

Solar Modules-
The heart of the earthsafe™system is based on Siemens Solar high-performance monocrystalline SP-75 modules or SP-65 modules. Siemens Solar Modules include a 25 year warranty: the longest in the business.
Mounting kit-
The universal roof mounting kit can be used on shingle or flat roofs. Manufactured from stainless steel and aluminum hardware, it is suitable for all climates
Inverter and Interconnects-
The inverter supplies high quality AC power, and meets the requirements of the National Electrical Code. Automatic anti-islanding features continuously check and match the voltage amplitude and timing of the utility power. Disconnects and ground fault protection are included. An optional power monitor is available.

A: The earthsafe™ system transforms the sun's energy into electrical energy using solar modules. The electricity produced by these solar modules can power any electrical appliance in your home including pool pumps, air conditioners, etc. The earthsafe™ system connects directly to your home's utility panel. You can think of it as an appliance that produces electricity instead of consuming electricity.

A: The modules are made of Power Max™ high efficiency single-crystalline solar cells, similar to those used for space satellites.
